Craven County confirmed coronavirus cases increased by two from Sunday to Monday, bringing the total case count to 44 with four deaths. Meanwhile, 11 new cases and one new death were reported among Craven and surrounding counties during that same period.
The Craven County Health Department has not yet issued its update for Monday. Data from that source will be included in another New Bern Post report once the county figures are available.
The two new cases were in the 28562 ZIP Code area of New Bern.

There is so much misinformation everywhere, such as “New Bern is safe. We will never get it here.” that it is very reassuring to have a source for the facts that I can count on.
