A Message from Jocelyn Konrad, EVP, Chief Pharmacy Officer
Rite Aid is staged and ready to make the COVID-19 vaccine available in all of the communities we serve.
On behalf of our 55,000 Rite Aid associates, I’d like assure you of our commitment to help you and your family keep safe and healthy during this unprecedented pandemic. We’re proud to support our communities with COVID-19 testing, and are eager to further support our communities by distributing the COVID-19 vaccine when it is available.
Through our partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as an official COVID-19 Vaccination Program Provider, we are staged and ready to make this life-saving vaccine available in all of the communities we serve when it becomes available to Rite Aid.
This means you will be able to receive the vaccine from your neighborhood Rite Aid pharmacist, whom you know and trust. Better yet, the COVID-19 vaccines will be available at no cost.
Upon vaccine availability, you will be able to schedule an appointment when it is convenient for you. The latest information on COVID-19 vaccines in testing indicate the need for a two-shot series to provide the best protection from the virus. To make a two-shot series as convenient as possible, we will send you a reminder for your second scheduled shot.
As we get closer to an approved vaccine, we will keep you informed on when it will be available to you and continue to post updates on our website.
In the meantime, let’s work together to reduce the spread of this virus. Talk your pharmacist about supporting your immune system with traditional approaches like getting a flu shot or adding a zinc supplement. Additionally, consider alternative approaches such as incorporating raw Manuka honey or probiotics into your diet. And please remember to wear a mask in public and keep socially distanced.
Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your whole health journey. We look forward to continuing to support you and your family.
Take Care,

Jocelyn Z. Konrad
