Despite one day over the weekend when there were 45 new cases of COVID-19, the number of recovered cases in Craven County is keeping pace with the number of new cases both in recoveries and hospitalizations.

Craven County has 2,381 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 2, 2020. Of those, 143 are active.

Out of the 2,381 confirmed positive cases, 2,176 have recovered.

Of the newest cases, one additional case was confirmed on Oct. 29, 2020, 45 were confirmed on Oct. 30, 2020, four on October 31, 2020, one on Nov. 1, 2020, and 3 today.

Of the 2,381 cases, 25 have been related to out of state travel, 484 are from community transmission, 1,554 are a direct contact with a previously confirmed positive case, 124 are still being investigated, and 194 are unknown.
