He said the county is seeing a strong economic shift “that offers competitive jobs in an environment we can all appreciate. Craven County offers so many unique opportunities from the water to the woods and we also have a strong professional and industrial job market.”

The NCWorks Career Center-New Bern is spearheading the event, in partnership with Craven Works Job Fair Planning Committee.

Craven 100 Alliance and the City of New Bern Parks & Recreation Department are sponsors of the event.

COVID-19 safety precautions will be strictly monitored at the Job Fair so our community can feel safe while continuing their employment and training endeavors.

A COVID-19 pre-screening is required prior to entering the event and starts at 11 a.m. You can expect to have a temporal forehead temperature check and be asked COVID-19 pre-screening questions.

Job Fair attendees will be asked to practice COVID-19 safety guidelines by following the three Ws: Wear (a mask), Wait (6 feet apart), and Wash (sanitize your hands).

Hand sanitizer and face masks will be available at the event.
