The Habitat for Humanity of Craven County ReStore Fundraising Auction, originally scheduled for Friday, May 15, 2020, at the New Bern Elks Lodge on Pinetree Drive, has been rescheduled to Friday, September 18, 2020.
This annual fundraising event will help support our vision — A world where everyone has a decent place to live.
This event will feature antiques, collectibles, merchandise donations from local businesses, and DIY Projects created by local community members for auction. Doors open at 5 p.m. with the auction beginning at 6:30 p.m.
“Over our 31 years of building affordable homes and repairing homes in Craven County, we have served more than 100 eligible homeowners who have safe, decent and affordable homes in both Havelock and New Bern. Our efforts have had a life-changing impact on the adults and children as well as the neighborhoods where we have built homes,” the organization said in a news release. “We are particularly proud that 20 homeowners have fully paid off their mortgages.”
Monetary donations are also welcome and may be sent to Habitat for Humanity of Craven County, 930 Pollock Street, New Bern, NC, 28562.
