Craven County has 1,319 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of 11 a.m. on Sept. 15, 2020. There are 283 active cases, the highest of the pandemic so far.

Hospitalizations of Craven County residents, meanwhile, remain fairly steady at around 7. That doesn’t count non-Craven County residents who are being treated in Craven County.

Out of the 1,319 confirmed positive cases, 1,005 have recovered and completed the necessary isolation requirement and have been free of COVID-19 symptoms for at least 24 hours.

Of the 1,319 cases, 18 have been related to out of state travel, 220 are from community transmission, 898 are a direct contact with a previously confirmed positive case, 122 are still being investigated, and 61 are unknown.
