Craven County has 1,343 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of 11 a.m. on Sept. 16, 2020, an increase of 24 cases in 24 hours.

The number of active cases increased by a similar number, reaching a total of 307 cases.

Out of the 1,343 confirmed positive cases, 1,005 have recovered.

Of the 1,343 cases, 18 have been related to out of state travel, 220 are from community transmission, 900 are a direct contact with a previously confirmed positive case, 144 are still being investigated, and 61 are unknown.

There have been 31 deaths related to COVID-19.
